Angel: Season 6 - Introduction
After the events of Not Fade Away, hell is unleashed in LA. The demons are now running the show and LA has literally gone to hell. Angel is still trying to help the helpless in any way he can. However he's still working for Wolfram & Hart in some way or form. There are higher beings with their own wishes on what they want happen to Angel and LA.
The series is overseen by Joss Whedon, however it's still unclear as to whether this is officially "cannon", unlike the Buffy season 8 comic book series which is. Brian Lynch and Frank Urru have taken the reigns for After the Fall.
