Issue #6: No Future For You Part I

It's Faith. She's receiving a call from Robin Wood, the last principal of Sunnydal High. He's got a job for her, something only she can do. When she gets to the job she finds out why. It's a room full of kids... who have all been turned. She does her duty and heads home, where she's got an unlikely visitor waiting for her.

It's Giles and he's got a deal for Faith. He's got one last assignment for her, after which she can retire from the Slayer gig, get a whole new identity and disappear. Giles explained more about the "target". It's a slayer. She has to be killed, otherwise we've got the end of the world on our hands all over again. Faith accepts.

We're introduced to this slayer. Her name is Genevieve and she's extremely well off. She's under the tutelage of someone very powerful and who appears to be on the same side as those working against Buffy and her band of slayers. He's training Genevieve to kill other slayers.

Meanwhile Giles is teaching Faith how to be a lady, as she will be required to fit in with the same elite group of people as Genevieve. Giles is finding out that it's not that easy. Back in Scotland Buffy and Xander are trying to get to the bottom of the "Twilight" thing that has crossed their paths. Back in London Faith is ready for her first encounter with Genevieve and is ready to go to the ball.

Issue #7: No Future For You Part II

Faith arrives at Genevieve's soiree. She's got backup from Giles, who's listening in on an earpiece, but Faith chucks that thinking she can do better without even more voices in her head. Faith manages to get into the party, even without an invitation and gets ready for her task - take down Genevieve at whatever cost. However it looks like Faith could be made.

At slayer central Willow's doing her best to find out what's up with Dawn and what made her into a giant. She doesn't get very far and the blame still looks like it lands very heavily on the thricewise, Kenny. Suddenly Willow's called away by Buffy, she needs some computer help.

Back at the party Faith finds herself alone with Genevieve and they bond over a cigarette and "Hope's" family issues. All of a sudden Faith's lifted away by two stone gargoyles - two of Roden's thugs. After a vicious fight, Faith gets shot of both of them, but not without doing herself some damage. She passes out. When she wakes she sees she's being looked after by Genevieve and Roden. Genevieve now knows that Faith's a slayer too and reveals her plan. Her plan to take out Buffy.

Issue #8: No Future For You Part III

Genevieve tells Faith her whole plan to take out Buffy. Genevieve's under the misguided notion that Buffy's the one on the wayward path. Part of Faith actually wants to get rid of Buffy, due to her past feelings over the "golden girl". Meanwhile Giles is trying to get a hold of Faith, without any luck. He's thinking of the worst case scenario; Faith's now siding with Genevieve.

Faith and Genevieve bond more and Faith tries to get Genevieve to go back on her plan, but it doesn't seem to be working. At slayer central Willow's beefing up the security around the castle for Buffy, and then all of a sudden she disappears. It wasn't Willow who made her vanish into thin air, it was Roden who transported her in order for Genevieve to kill her.

Genevieve and Buffy fight, while Faith remains in the shadows. Buffy gets the upper hand, at which point Faith jumps in and stops her from killed Genevieve with a swipe of her own sword. Faith and Buffy tumble through the window and outside, splashing into the pool. Faith tries to convince Buffy she's on her side, but Buffy doesn't believe her and the two slayers fight. The fight reaches an end only when Willow manages to transport Buffy away by which time she's already twigged that it was Giles who sent Faith on this mission. Back in England Faith is facing her own problem, with Genevieve.

Issue #9: No Future For You Part IV

Faith flashes back to a time when she was happy working with the Mayor and sympathises with Genevieve's situation. The two slayers fight it out. Meanwhile Giles get a phone call - it's Willow. Only it's not Willow, it's Buffy and she's hurt and angry that Giles left her out of this mission. She doesn't understand why he wanted Buffy out of this one.

Faith and Genevieve are still fighting it out with Faith trying to convince Genevieve that she was on the wrong side, but she's not hearing any of it. In the heat of the fight Faith kills Genevieve by mistake. She had no real intention of killing her. Roden then takes her on thankfully Giles appears in the nick of time to Help Faith out from getting swallowed into the earth. He puts a spell on Roden causing his head to explode.

Faith and Giles return to their base, Giles' flat where Faith has second thoughts about becoming a new person. Faith makes her own way, at the moment. Elsewhere news has got back to the power behind "Twilight" that Genevieve and Roden are dead. Whoever this being is, he doesn't seem too concerned yet.
