In terms of cool looking cars, the new Maserati GranCabrio Sport is pretty near the top of the pile.
This edition is named the Poltona Frau after an Interior and Leather Upholstery company which Maserati merged with in 2001.
Since it is now the 10th anniversary of the two companies merging, Poltrona Frau has made a special edition interior with fantastic leather features that are comfy and luxurious. Not like this Maserati needed more luxury but hey why not?
Apart from the new leather interior, the car has had a slight peformance upgrade from the regular version. This is because of a new and more fuel effective Auto Shifting Transmission. Because of this, the 4.7 litre V8 now has 450HP, which is an increase of 10 from standard. 0-60MPH is 5.2 seconds, going on to 177MPH. Used models can be found at used cars storrington
Well, we have finally been given the details on the new Lotus Exige S. Described as the ultimate lightweight high performance sportscar. It comes with a refactored look both inside and out, including an added 100 horsepower to the engine.
Speaking of power, the Exige S now has a mid placed 3.5 Litre Dual Over Head Cam V6 which provides a spritely 345 Horses, a big jump from the previous Toyota supercharged inline 4. The only downside is the additional weight which is up over 200 lbs.
This doesn’t however, equate to slower 0-60 times with a reported sprint coming up at 3.8 seconds, down from 4.0. The top speed is also a respectable 170MPH, up from 145MPH.
Lotus are also going to release a Dynamic Performance Management option which will give you the choice to switch between Touring, Sport and DPM off. There will also be a race pack with a Race driving mode for the best racing exprience.
