Michelle Trachtenberg has been cast in a brand new pilot for NBC called Mercy where she’ll be playing one of three nurses.

As if things couldn’t get any worse, they get a whole lot worse. Tom Zarek’s got his revolution and he’s loving it. He’s got his minions doing his bidding while he sits and plays mind games with Lee. It’s why I love Zarek. It’s so easy for him to manipulate people. Though whereas before he was more successful at manipulating Lee, using his broken relationship with his father. This time the Adamas bond is much stronger and it shows. Sometimes I forget that in the beginning there was such a rift between them.

After last week’s more sedate episode it was good to get some action in this week. A whole lot of action. Raise your hand if you didn’t love the two old men giving the marines a good kicking! You always suspect that those two guys, back in the day, were pretty bad ass. With old age they haven’t stopped. The old men strikes back!

But what is Felix thinking? Sure he thinks he’s doing the right thing. Understandably so. He’s losing faith. They all have. But to put your faith in Tom Zarek? Come on! Okay the president has been AWOL and it’s a shame that it takes all this to get her out of her personal hole. But I’m hoping this is just want’s needed for the fleet to get their heads screwed on properly.

I’m just utterly surprised at how, practically, the entire crew of the Galactica has just turned against the Admiral. I thought he had a lot more of a loyal crew. To see the likes of Racetrack and Ceelix quite happily join the revolution actually shocked me.

Baltar’s need for self preservation is hilarious though. It adds a bit of lightness to this episode, but not too much to cheapen everything else that is going on. He really is two people, and all for the sake of just surviving with his ‘cult’. Though he’s still more than happy to help the president and the surviving crew with brains, as he himself can see that Tom Zarek’s way is not the way.

I have no idea what will happen next. I don’t want to predict what will happen, I just want to enjoy the last few episodes and just go along with the ride. It’s an awesome ride!
